None. .AREAS AFFECTED... This local statement provides information and recommended action for people on Yap, Ngulu, Ulithi, Fais, Faraulep, Woleai and Satawal in Yap State. .WATCHES/WARNINGS... A Tropical Storm Warning remains in effect for Faraulep, Satawal, and Woleai in Yap State. A Tropical Storm Watch remains in effect for Yap, Ulithi, Fais, and Ngulu in Yap State. A Tropical Storm Warning means that tropical storm conditions, including damaging winds of 39 to 73 mph, are expected within the next 24 hours. A Tropical Storm Watch means that tropical storm conditions are possible within the next 48 hours. .STORM INFORMATION... At 1 AM ChST, the center of Tropical Storm Hagupit was located near Latitude 7.1N, Longitude 145.2E. This was about 90 miles east of Woleai, 105 miles south-southeast of Faraulep, and 125 miles west of Satawal in Yap State. Hagupit is moving west-southwest at 7 mph. It is expected to make a slight turn toward the west and west-northwest with a slight decrease in forward speed through Friday as it moves across Yap State. Maximum sustained winds remain at 40 mph. Hagupit is forecast to maintain this intensity through tonight, then gradually strengthen through Friday, remaining a Tropical Storm for at least the next few days. .SITUATION OVERVIEW... Hagupit remains a Tropical Storm to the east of Woleai this morning. Tropical Storm Hagupit looks to maintain a west-southwest trek across eastern Yap State through early this morning, turn slightly west this morning, then make a gradual turn to the west- northwest on later today as it passes near Woleai. Hagupit looks to remain at its current intensity today, and the gradually intensifying on Friday. The delay in intensification will likely allow for Satawal to be out of the TS winds this morning. However, with the bulk of convection over Satawal, the tropical storm warning remains in effect. The latest forecast tracks Hagupit just south of Woleai, putting the island firmly with the tropical storm forced winds. Although the current forecast track brings TS Hagupit farther south of Faraulep, a northward expansion of the wind field is forecasted today and a Tropical Storm Warning remains in effect for Faraulep. Tropical storm conditions will begin this morning for Faraulep and Woleai, and depart Satawal this morning. As TS Hagupit's wind field expands and strengthens as it moves further west, Ulithi, Fais, Ngulu, and Yap may enter the radius of tropical storm force winds as early as Friday morning, and a Tropical Storm Watch remains in effect for these islands and atolls. .PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
