      <title>Philippines, China, Vietnam - Tropical Cyclone MUJIGAE</title>

		&lt;ul&gt;
    &lt;li&gt;MUJIGAE, known in the Philippines as KABAYAN, made landfall in the area of Baler-San Luis (Aurora province, Luzon, Philippines) on 1 October evening, as a Tropical Storm.
    Heavy rains and strong winds affected several areas of Luzon on 1-2 October. Media reported floods and power cuts in the provinces of Aurora and Nueva Ecija; there were no reports of casualties. &lt;/li&gt;
    &lt;li&gt;Over the next 48 h it is forecast to move over the South China Sea, towards southern China and northern Vietnam. It may reach Hainan and Guandgdong provinces (China) early on 4 October, as a Tropical Storm or strengthened into a Typhoon (Category 1). &lt;/li&gt;
    &lt;li&gt;Strong winds, heavy rains and storm surge may affect Hainan, Guandgdong and Guangxi provinces (China), as well as northern Vietnam on 4-5 October. JRC calculations indicate a storm surge of the order of 2.4 m in the coastal area of Leizhou (Guangdong) on 4 October morning.
