India - Tropical Cyclones HELEN and LEHAR - UPDATE

LEHAR crossed the Andaman and Nicobar islands on 24-25 November and it started moving over the Bay of Bengal, towards India, strengthening.
On 26 November at 00:00 UTC it had a max. sustained wind speed of 138 km/h and its center was located ca. 200 km west of Andaman and Nicobar Islands and ca. 1 000 km southeast of Andhra Pradesh coasts (India).
According to the data of 26 November 00:00 UTC, in the next 36 hours, it is forecast to continue moving west-northwest, strengthening, and it may reach the coast of Andhra Pradesh on 28 November. It will affect the same general area as the tropical cyclone HELEN did, that killed at least 10 people, according to local media. Heavy rains, strong winds and storm surge may affect the landfall area on 28 November.
