      <title>Philippines - Tropical Cyclone RAMMASUN</title>

    &lt;li&gt;On 14 July RAMMASUN (named "GLENDA" in the Philippines) moved towards eastern Bicol region, strengthening into a Typhoon. On 15 July at 0.00 UTC it was a Typhoon with max. sustained winds of 148 km/h and its center was located approx. 60 km north-east of Palapag (Northern Samar) and 200 km east of Legazpi City (Albay province).&lt;/li&gt;
    &lt;li&gt;It is forecast to make landfall in the area of Legazpi in the morning of 15 July (UTC) as a Typhoon, then move north-west slightly weakening, crossing Calabarzon, National Capital Region and Central Luzon, and move into the South China Sea on 16 July. Afterwards it is forecast to continue
    moving north-west, over the South China Sea, towards China and Vietnam,
    strengthening.&lt;/li&gt;
    &lt;li&gt;On 15-16 July, heavy rains, strong winds and storm surge are expected to affect parts of Luzon and Visayas. Flash floods and landslides may also occur in low-lying areas. JRC calculations indicate a possible storm surge of the order of 1.2 &amp;ndash; 1.3 m in the coastal areas near Cabusao (Camarines Sure) on 15 July early afternoon (UTC) and of 1.6-1.8 m in the coastal area near Abucay (Bataan Procinces), western Manila Bay, on 16 July morning.&lt;/li&gt;

      <title>Philippines, China, Vietnam - Tropical Cyclone RAMMASUN</title>

    &lt;li&gt;On 17 July Typhoon RAMMASUN moved over the South China Sea, towards the coast of the Chinese island of Hainan, strengthening. On 18 July at 0.00 UTC its center was located approx. 160 km south-east of Wenchang (Hainan, China) and it had max. sustained winds of 232 km/h.&lt;/li&gt;
    &lt;li&gt;It is forecast to cross the north-eastern tip of Hainan and southern Guangdong provinces on 18 July morning (UTC), then continue moving north-west over the Gulf of Tonkin.&amp;nbsp;It is expected to make landfall in northern Vietnam (border region to China) on 19 July (UTC).&lt;/li&gt;
    &lt;li&gt;On 18-20 July strong winds, heavy rains and storm surge may affect parts of southern China, including the provinces of Hainan, Guangdong, Guangxi and Yunnan, as well as parts of northern Vietnam. JRC calculations indicate a possible storm surge of the order of 3.0-3.3 m in the coastal areas near Leizhou (Guangdong) on 18 July afternoon (UTC). &lt;/li&gt;
    &lt;li&gt;In China, the China Meteorological Administration has issued a Red Warning for Typhoon and an Orange Warning for Rainstorm. In Vietnam, a Typhoon warning is also in effect. In southern China, since 10 July, heavy rains have already caused floods and landslides in a number of provinces, killing at least 34 people.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/li&gt;
    &lt;li&gt;In the Philippines, due to the passage of RAMMASUN (GLENDA), there were 54 dead, 100 people injured, three missing, 882&amp;nbsp;326 people affected in seven regions (most of them in Bicol Region and Calabarzon), 525&amp;nbsp;791 people inside 1 200 evacuation centres and 26 259 houses damaged (7&amp;nbsp;002 of them destroyed and 19&amp;nbsp;257 partially damaged). A State of Calamity has been declared for four provinces (Albay, Camarines Sur, Samar, Laguna), one municipality (Obando, Bulacan) and Nega City. &lt;/li&gt;
