<ul> <li>Tropical Cyclone ODILE made landfall near Cabo San Lucas (Baja California Sur) on 15 September at 4.45 UTC with max. sustained winds of 205 km/h (Category 3 Hurricane).</li> <li>Following&nbsp;a previous hurricane warning by the government of Mexico, the population in&nbsp;the most vulnerable coastal areas had been evacuated and shelters for up to 30 000 people were prepared. </li> <li>In the next 24h it is forecast that ODILE will weaken while&nbsp;moving over the southern part of Baja California Sur.
