MANILA, Philippines — A 4.9-magnitude earthquake jolted Surigao del Norte on Wednesday afternoon, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said. In its earthquake bulletin, Phivolcs said the quake hit 75 kilometers southeast of General Luna, Surigao del Norte, at 2:50 p.m.
