Un sismo de magnitud de 6,4 se ha registrado a 47 kilómetros al noroeste de Namatanai (Papúa Nueva Guinea) a las 14:35 UTC, informa el Servicio Geológico de EE.UU. (USGS, por sus siglas en inglés). El foco del temblor se ha localizado en una profundidad de 367,9 kilómetros. De momento, no hay datos acerca de posibles víctimas o daños materiales.

An earthquake measured at 6.4 has struck Papua New Guinea in the southwestern Pacific. A tsunami warning is currently in effect for the surrounding area. The earthquake struck at a depth of 367.93km, 47km north west of the town of Namatanai at 2.35pm UTC. On February 26 2018 an earthquake of magnitude 7.
