Um poderoso terremoto, de magnitude 8,2 na escala Richter, atingiu nesta terça-feira (23/01) a costa do Alasca, gerando um alerta de tsunami, retirado horas depois. Não há registro de danos ou feridos. O tremor foi registrado no Golfo do Alasca, 280 quilômetros a sudeste da cidade de Kodiak, segundo o serviço geológico americano.

Un potente terremoto de magnitud 7,9 se ha registrado este martes en aguas del golfo de Alaska, a 280 kilómetros al sureste de la ciudad estadounidense de Kodiak, según datos del Servicio Geológico de EE.UU. (USGS, por sus siglas en inglés). El epicentro del sismo se ha localizado a 10 kilómetros de profundidad.
