Timor-Leste and Eastern Indonesia, Early April 2021Over 80 people are thought to have died and dozens are reported as missing after flash floods and landslides ravaged parts of West and East Nusa Tenggara Provinces in Indonesia and the neighbouring country of East Timor. Further updates / assessments of 06 April in East Timor revealed a total of 34 fatalities: 13 in Dili, 12 in Manatuto, 7in Ainaro, 1in Baucau and 1 in Aileu. Damage assessments in East Nusa Tenggara Province in Indonesia showed 8,424 residents were displaced and 1,083 families or 2,683 other residents were affected. The largest displacement identified was in East Sumba Regency with a total of 7,212 people (1,803 families), Lembata 958, Rote Ndao Regency 672 (153 families), West Sumba 284 (63 families) and East Flores 256.Wed 7 Apr 2021FloodList provided by Copernicus GLOFAS
