Ontario, Canada and Michigan, USA, Late July 2021Heavy rain from 15 July 2021 caused flooding in areas of the Municipality of Lakeshore, Ontario, Canada. The municipality declared a state of emergency. Officials said rainfall was so intense pumps and drainage systems could not cope. Heavy rain also caused flooding of roads in surrounding areas of Essex County, Ontario.
