Almaty Region, Kazakhstan, May 2022Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan reported a landslide struck in Tekeli, Almaty region on 15 May 2022 following heavy rainfall. One person died, two homes were destroyed, an apartment building and roads were damaged. Emergency services involving over 80 personnel carried out search and rescue operations.
