Central and Eastern Thailand, Mid-September 2022DDPM and ADINet reported flooding in Bangkok and the provinces of Singburi and Rayong, Thailand, in mid-September 2022. No injuries or deaths were reported by DDPM. Flooding struck in Rayong after heavy rain from 11 September. As many as 125,615 people from 25,123 households were affected across the districts of Klaeng, Mueang, Ban Chang, Ban Khai and Nikhom Phatthana. Around the same time heavy rain caused flooding in the areas of Bangkok including Phasi Charoen, Bang Khae, Nong Khaem, Thung Khru, Thon Buri, Taling Chan, Yan Nawa, Watthana, Suan Luang, Bang Na, Saphan Sung, Lat Krabang, Prawet, Lak Si, Bang Khen affecting 70,445 people from 14,089 households. From 15 September flooding affected parts of In Buri district of Sing Buri Province after the Chao Phraya river broke its banks.
