Romania, Late May 2023The General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (IGSU) in Romania reported that in a period 26 to 28 May, teams were called to 29 localities in 17 counties (Bacau, Braila, Cara?-Severin, Constan?a, Covasna, Dolj, Gala?i, Gorj, Ialomi?a, Ia?i, Ilfov, Mehedin?i, Prahova, Timi?, Teleorman, Vaslui and Vrancea) and the municipality of Bucharest for the pumping of water from around 16 buildings and 79 courtyards. According to local media reports, the most significant flooding occurred in Timi? and Gala?i counties.
