Un tremblement de terre de magnitude 6,5 sur l'échelle de Richter s'est produit dimanche à 21h11 GMT dans le sud des Fidji, a indiqué l'Institut des études géologiques des Etats-Unis (USGS). D'une profondeur de 569,97 kilomètres, l'épicentre du séisme a été localisé à 25,4526 degrés de latitude sud et 178,2198 degrés de longitude est.

La tarde de este domingo se registró un sismo en el Océano Pacífico Sur, de magnitud 6.3 así lo dio a conocer en su cuenta de Twitter SkyAlert. De acuerdo con SkyAlert el sismo, tuvo una profundidad de 583 kilómetros y se registró en la región de las islas Fiyi. Skyalert informa que se registró lejos de zonas habitadas y sin peligro de tsunami.
