AKIPRESS.COM - Earthquake jolted Uzbekistan on August 18 evening, according to the Republican Center for Seismic and Prognostic Monitoring of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan. Shocks were felt in several cities of Uzbekistan. The earthquake occurred at 20:46 in some 79 km from Samarkand and Kashkadarya cities at magnitude 4.

AKIPRESS.COM - A 5.4 magnitude earthquake hit Kazakhstan 's Almaty region on Sunday, Sputnik reports with reference to the Interior Ministry of the country. "The earthquake's energy class was 12.8, magnitude 5.4, depth 5 kilometres [3.1 miles]", the Ministry said. The earthquake occurred at 5:07 a.m.
