Honduras, Early to Mid-December 2023Local media and the Fire Service reported flooding in parts of Honduras after a cold front brought heavy rain from early December 2023. Two people died in a landslide that buried homes in Choloma, Cortés, on 07 December 2023. Further heavy rain fell on 11 December. Firefighters were called after a vehicle was swept away by the flooding Cangrejal River in La Ceiba, Atlántida. The vehicle was found empty.
