Northern Vietnam, August 2020Heavy rainfall associated with Tropical Storm Higos caused landslides and flooding in northern Vietnam. As of 20 August, Vietnam Disaster Management Authority (DMA) reported 7 fatalities in Vinh Phuc (2), Lao Cai (2), Son La (1), Lai Chau (1) and Thai Nguyen (1).
