Typhoon Higos expected to peak this morning. According to the National Weather Service, Typhoon Higos is expected to peak at about 10 a.m. today, hundreds of miles to the east of Guam. As of yesterday morning, the storm was 775 miles east of Guam. It is projected to track to the northwest, weakening, then start turning north Thursday.
