September outlook in Washington: Cooler and wetter than normal

Given the past week of cool, dry weather, it feels as if we may have started fall early in Washington. Meteorologically, though, the fan-favorite season doesn’t start until Sept. 1. After a cool and wet August to close out the summer season, will September show more of the same? We believe so!....
