A flood advisory is in place for central St. Lucie County until 6:15 p.m. At 4:43 p.m., doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated very heavy rain falling due to thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area. Up to 3 inches of rain has already fallen and another 1 to 2 inches is expected over the 60 to 90 minutes.
