Henriette formed, as a depression, on the morning of Saturday August 3, 2013. The eight depression of the eastern Pacific season, Henriette formed about 1,100 miles off the southern tip of Baja California. Just a bit over 24 hours later, on August 4th, Henriette officially got its name as it reached tropical storm strength.
