Storm Riikka, Finland, Late July 2021Storm Riikka affected parts of central and eastern Finland from 18 July 2021. Strong winds caused damage to trees and power infrastructure. Power was cut to 11,000 homes, mostly in Northern Savonia and North Karelia. Some flash flooding was reported in the city of Kuopio and surrounding areas of Northern Savonia.
