Malaysia, December 2021Heavy rain in Malaysia from 17 December caused severe flooding in 7 states and the capital territory of Kuala Lumpur. As of 20 December over 40,000 people were displaced staying in 417 relief centres. There were unconfirmed reports of 10 people missing and some fatalities. The worst affected areas were in Pahang and Selangor states.
