Glacial Lake Outburst Flood, Gorkha District, Nepal, Late April 2024Glide and local media reported a GLOF (Glacial lake outburst flood) at Birendra Lake located in Manaslu Glacier in Gorkha District in northern-central Nepal on 21 April. Local media reported the flood was caused by an avalanche. No casualties were reported.
