Mauritania, October 2024IFRC reported flooding in the Senegal River Basin in Mauritania in October 2024. The Organization for the Development of the Senegal River (OMVS) activated its "orange alert" on 13 October and said flows were similar to those observed during the exceptional flood of 1999.
