  • An earthquake of 5.1 M at a depth of 10 km occurred in Shuangbai County (Chuxiong Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province, southern China) on 10 June at 11.46 UTC (19.46 local time). The epicentre was located approximately 55 km northwest of Yuxi City.
  • According to media reports, at least two people have been injured and 2,669 houses damaged.
  • National authorities mobilised 3,420 people in the emergency operations and provided help - tents, quilts, beds and food - for those most affected.
