  • On 4 December, severe weather, including heavy rain and roads flooding, has been affecting southern Italy, particularly the region of Apuglia, resulting in evacuations and damage.
  • As of 4 December, media reports of two people rescued from there flooded homes in Ostuni, and six people evacuated in Brindisi, both Apuglia, although such data are not officially confimed neither by the Regional nor the National Authorithies. Several apartments were flooded. Media also report traffic disruptions and some material damage due to fallen trees in Bari, Apuglia.
  • Over the next 48 hours, drier conditions, with only isolated rains, are forecast over the region.
