After the earthquake of 5.8 M (depth of 10 km) occurred in central-northern Sulawesi Island (central Indonesia) on 16 August at 22.38 UTC, more casualties and damage were reported across the affected area.
The ASEAN Disaster Information Network (ADINet) reports, as at 20 August, two fatalities, 44 injured people, 89 evacuated people and a total of 433 affected people across Poso regency (southern Central Sulawesi province). In addition, ADINet also reports 70 totally damaged houses, 124 partially damaged houses and three damaged schools.
