  • On 12 July, in the northeast of Spain, in the provinces of Barcelona, Zaragoza, Teruel, Castellón and Burgos have been affected by heavy rainfall and storms triggering overflow of rivers and floods, causing two people unaccounted for, evacuations, roads closures and interruption of services.
  • According to media, as of 13 July, in Catalonia, two people are still missing in the city of Cubelles, and search efforts were still ongoing. In Vilafranca del Penedès, Catalonia, a hospital had to be evacuated due to flooding.
  • Over the next 48 hours, drier conditions are forecast with only light rain scattered over the Cantabrian area.
