  • Heavy rainfall has been affecting the Northwest Pacific Region of the USA, in particular Washington and Oregon States since 4 December, causing floods and rivers overflow that have resulted in casualties and damage.
  • Media report, as of 7 December, two fatalities, one person still missing and around 30 damaged houses across the Portland City area in Oregon State. In addition, media also report approximately 200 evacuated, ten rescued people and 12 damaged houses throughout Snohomish and Wahkiakum Counties in Washington State.
  • Over the next 24 hours, more heavy rainfall accompanied with heavy snowfall  is forecast over most of  Washington and Oregon States.
