ORANGE alert: The Kanlaon Volcanic eruption may have a medium humanitarian impact, based on the magnitude of the eruption, the exposed population and its coping capacity..
The Smithsonian/USGS Weekly Volcanic Activity Report provides information about global volcanism on a weekly basis. Latest Kanlaon report has been published on 24 Sep 2026 13:03. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) reported continuing eruptive activity at Kanlaon during 16-22 September.
