Venezuela, Mid-May 2022The municipalities of Simón Bolívar and Lagunillas in Zulia state reported flooding and the collapse of main roads after heavy rainfall on 11 May 2022, according to local media reports. Affected areas are situated a=on the eastern shore of Lake Maracaibo. In April areas mostly to the south of the lake were badly affected.
