Central and Eastern Spain, Mid-November 2022Stormy weather including heavy rain, hail and strong winds caused severe damage in eastern and central Spain from 11 November 2022. Flooding was reported in Valencia and Castile and León Regions. Valencia airport was closed due to flooding. Wind damage to power infrastructure in Tarragona, Catalonia, left around 7,000 homes without electricity.
