  • Heavy rainfall has been affecting southern peninsular Thailand, in particular the Narathiwat Province over the last week, causing floods that have resulted in damage.
  • The ASEAN Disaster Information Network (ADINet) reports, as of 30 January, a total of approximately 2,960 displaced people across the Waeng and Rangae Districts, Narathiwat Province. One school was also reported damaged across the affected area.
  • Over the next 72 hours, drier conditions are expected over southern peninsular Thailand.
