  • Heavy rainfall, strong wind and hail affected Serbia on 21 May causing floods and flash floods that resulted in casualties and damage.
  • According to media reports, as of 22 May, one person died and several people have been evacuated due to severe weather-related incidents and floods in Sombor municipality in Backa region in north-western Serbia. In addition, several roads have been also affected in the Belgrade capital and Novi Pazar in Šumadija and Western Serbia region in south-western Serbia.
  • On 23-24 May, more rainfall is forecasted over most of Serbia.
