Thailand, September 2025Disaster authorities reported severe weather including heavy rain, flooding and landslides, affected several provinces of Thailand from early September 2025, including Phitsanulok, Phetchabun, Phichit, Uttaradit, Lampang, Tak, Chaiyaphum, Kalasin, Roi Et, Udon Thani, Nakhon Ratchasima, Chanthaburi, Chonburi, Samut Prakan, and Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, as well as 13 districts of Bangkok. According to reports from DDPM in Thailand, the worst-hit are were in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Samut Prakan, and Phitsanulok, which alone accounted for over 35,000 affected households. The Office of the National Water Resources (ONWR) in Thailand issued a nationwide flood alert on 07 September after reporting that nine of Thailand's major reservoirs, particularly in the North and Northeast, were holding more water than their maximum capacity.Wed 10 Sep 2025Provided by Copernicus EMS GloFAS
