Vasternorrland County, Sweden, Mid-September 2025Disaster authorities in Sweden reported storms with heavy rain from 06 to 07 September 2025 caused flooding in areas of Vasternorrland County. The torrential rain caused train derailments and around 40 roads had to be closed. The municipalities of Härnösand, Kramfors, Sollefteå and Örnsköldsvik received the heaviest amounts of rain. One person died in a car accident where a road was washed away. Auhtoirites reported high flows along the Moälven and Nätraån rivers.
