  • On 30 September, heavy rainfall affected Odesa city in the Odesa Oblast of southern Ukraine, causing flash flooding and resulting in casualties and damage.
  • According to media reports, nine people have died, including one child, in Odesa city, more than 382 have been rescued, approximately 670 buildings have been damaged by floods, and at least 42,000 people across 32 villages have been affected by power outages.
  • On 2-3 October, drier conditions are expected over Odesa, and more rainfall is expected over the north-eastern part of the country.
