  • On 17 November, heavy rain affected several parts of Iran after months of severe drought, causing floods and river overflows. This resulted in evacuations and damage. The authorities started cloud-seeding on 15 November following the drought to encourage rainfall.
  • According to media reports, at least 40 families have been affected by floods in Abdan city in Ilam province, western Iran, and several were evacuated in Abdanan and Dehloran. Houses were flooded, and roads were blocked due to floodwaters.
  • On 19-20 November, drier conditions are forecast for the whole country.
