  • On 13 May at 22.51 UTC (14 May at 01.51 local time), an earthquake of 6 M happened in south-eastern Greece . The epicentre was located over the sea approximately 23 km south-southeast of Kasos Island and 61 km south-south-west of Karpathos.
  • USGS PAGER estimates that up to 3,000 people were exposed to strong shaking, and 3,000 to moderate.
  • A tsunami warning has been issued by national authorities in the area.
