  • After the earthquake of 5.8 M (depth of 10 km) occurred in central-northern Sulawesi Island (central Indonesia) on 16 August at 22.38 UTC, more casualties and damage were reported across the affected area.
  • The ASEAN Disaster Information Network (ADINet) reports, as at 20 August, two fatalities, 44 injured people, 89 evacuated people and a total of 433 affected people across Poso regency (southern Central Sulawesi province). In addition, ADINet also reports 70 totally damaged houses, 124 partially damaged houses and three damaged schools.
