  • An earthquake of 4.9  M at a depth of 10 km occurred in the northern Savu Sea, between the islands of Pulau Solor and Pulau Lembata, on 8  April at 16:17 UTC (00:17 local time). The epicentre was located 105 km east of Maumere city on the northern Flores island.
  • According to the ASEAN Disaster Information Network (ADINet), as of 8 April, 18 people suffered minor injuries, and 1 116 people were affected, with a total of 332 houses affected in Flores Timur Regency, East Nusa Tenggara.
  • Meanwhile, flooding has been affecting West and Central Java provinces since 10 April causing casualties and damage. According to ADINet, one person died  and one has been injured in Blora regency (Central Java), 73 people have been displaced in Bandung regency in West Java province, and a total of 3 503 people  have been affected. In addition, 922 houses have been affected in Bandung regency.
  • On 13-14 April, light and moderate rain are expected across the West and Central Java provinces.
