Sri Lanka, Mid-May 2022Sri Lanka’s Disaster Management Center (DMC) reported strong winds, lightning and heavy rain in the country from 13 May 2022. The heavy rain caused some material damages, as well as flooding and landslide risk in Rathnapura and Kalutara districts. As of 16 May, DMC reported 7,337 people affected and 203 homes damaged.
