DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK

At 100 PM CHST...0300 UTC...the center of Tropical Depression 21W
was located near Latitude 20.8 degrees North and Longitude
167.8 degrees East. 21W is moving north at 7 mph. It is expected
to maintain this general course with a slight increase in forward
speed through Friday. This general forecast track has 21W moving
through open ocean until it becomes a subtropical cyclone.

Maximum sustained winds are 35 mph. 21W is forecast to intensify
through Friday possibly becoming a tropical storm.
