Mozambique, December 2019 to January 2020Severe weather including heavy rain and flooding affected parts of Cabo Delgado and Nampula Provinces in Mozambique from late December, 2019. Heavy rain continued to fall and media reported 1 flood-related fatalitiy with 3 others missing on 14 January. Flood damage also interrupted power supply in northern districts. Instituto Nacional de Gestao de Calamidades (INGC) reported on 04 January that flooding displaced around 100 families in Maganja da Costa District and 200 families in Mocuba District after flooding from the Licungo River in Zambezia province.Thu 26 Dec 2019FloodList provided by Copernicus GLOFAS
