Northwest Territories, Canada, May 2022An ice jam caused flooding of the Hay River in Northwest Territories, Canada, from 07 May 2022. Around 250 pre-emptively evacuated their homes in the town of Hay River and surrounding areas. The town is located on the shore of Great Slave Lake which is reported to have risen 20 cm from early May.
