Trinidad and Tobago, Late November 2022Ministry of Rural Development and Local Government in Trinidad and Tobago reported flooding and landslides after a period of heavy rain from 26 November 2022. Emergency shelters were set up. As of 28 November local media said 30 people were displaced. Schools were closed as a precaution. The Caroni River at El Carmen River station was overflowing, flooding areas of Valsayn South. Significant flooding was also reported in St Helena.
