Pernambuco State, Brazil, Late May 2023Heavy rain caused flooding in Greater Recife and areas of Pernambuco State in Brazil on 24 May 2023. Streets were flooded in the capital, Recife. Part of a house collapsed in the Vasco da Gama neighbourhood of Recife. No injuries were reported. The family was relocated.
